You may have noticed a few recipes popping up on our twitter feed, well we figured its only fair (and about time) we entered them here for you in all their glory – with some yummy images too!
We like to share no nonsense (ie simple, quick, cheap and tasty) recipes of smoothies, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, drinks etc that we REALLY ARE ACTUALLY eating, drinking and loving! Most of our “recipes” are made up as we go along, so measurements are often not 100% precise BUT you can therefore experiment too – adding as much or as little of the ingredients according to your own taste…
On the other hand if we find and follow a recipe that is healthy, easy and of course tastes great we will let you know as well – these ones we will share as they are, or with our own no nonsense tweaks….we will of course highlight those tweaks for you though to distinguish from (and not rip off) the original!
Please go ahead and see the recipes listed below – just click the handwritten pics to enlarge and read the ingredients and methods listed. You can also email us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you want further info or alternative suggestions for any recipe published here.
So you don’t miss any recipes / updates you can also subscribe to our newsletter via the panel on the bottom right of this page – new details will be shared straight to your inbox as and when we are happy with something we’ve made!
- Chicken and Chilli Soup (22.09.15)
This one we whipped up yesterday using the leftovers from the Sunday roast chicken, some veggies, stock and fresh chilli, ginger and garlic. It took no time, used the blender and when eating it was like a hug in a bowl, leaving us feeling warm and cosy on an autumn eve. This soup – with its veg base and high garlic, onion, ginger and chilli content – should also pack a punch of vitamins and minerals to soothe and maybe even cut the time span of the autumn sniffles and the approaching common colds that always appear this time of year (Sept)

1 large kiwi fruit

1/2 a cucumber
1 inch raw ginger
1/2 fresh lemon
1 handful raw baby spinach
1 handful raw curly kale
1/2 glass water
